Hey, I'm Ashley!
I’m a deeply Taurus-coded intimate wedding photographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm a lover of beautiful spaces, really good food, soft lighting, and will jump at any excuse to make an ordinary night feel special.
A lot of the inspiration behind Pocket Weddings came from the dinner parties my best friends and I throw together. We dress up, plan the menu, decorate like crazy, get a little too extra with the garnishes...you get the picture. We don't do it for social media or attention, we just do it because we genuinely love creating something memorable for the people we care about.
That is what I want your wedding to feel like. Not themed per se, but every detail intentionally considered. Incredible food, thoughtful details, a clear point of view, and your favorite people gathered in one beautiful place. And then you celebrate it all, TOGETHER.
I’ll capture the design, the energy, the people, and all the little moments you were too busy laughing with your friends to notice - giving you direction when you need it and stepping back when the moment is already perfect.

Traveling is honestly one of my passions. I make it a point to get out and explore this beautiful earth as often as humanly possible. I'll probably be helping you with buttoning up your dress, pinning your boutonniere, teaching you the perfect champagne spray, and

Joy represents everything I am
and the core of what weddings are all about.
Working with so many couples with big weddings and being one of the few people they can truly vent to as all the planning is going down, I saw how stressful the traditional wedding day was for them. I saw how they didn't get to eat a single bite of the food they spent thousands on. I saw how they only got fleeting seconds to say a brief hello to their best friends. I saw how they never got a quick break to just take in the moment, to breathe each other in. And I knew there had to be a better way.
